Course Introduction

The first step to becoming a Korean cook, written theory class!
Cook Skills Written Course

The written exam certifies the ability to prepare safe, hygienic food and is a common test
required before the practical cook skills exam. It covers four subjects:
Food Hygiene & related laws, Public Health, Food Science, Cooking Theory & Costing.
Due to the wide scope, after learning theory, solving past questions can be hard,
so First Cooking Academy combines theory and related practice questions for better review.

Since this is a common test, passing exempts written exams for other practical tests for 2 years.
However, you must clearly choose the test category as only practical exams related to the passed written test
can be taken.

Recommended for those who want a cook certificate:

  • Those seeking employment or startup in food service or catering
  • Current workers without a cook certificate
